2) From the box with components, take out the net for the “Burst the Ball” stand and hang it on the back of the stand. 3) We take out small and medium-sized toys from the bags with toys and hang them on the stand with “Prizes” (at the bottom of the stand). From the box with components we take out a container with pins. For 3 pins we weigh 5 small toys. Then we weigh 5 medium toys using 3 pins. There should be 6 piles of soft toys. Then we weigh these heaps onto the “Prizes” stand in the place where it says “for toys.”

The demanding steps of arranging the Arcade trailer are carried out by the men, while the girls help them with the easier tasks.

Installation of the Arcade attraction

The car parks the trailer at the place where the attraction will be located. The operators' task is to place blocks under the wheels so that the trailer cannot move either forward or backward (the bars lie in the machine).

We begin to open the trailer from the trailer tongue side. Unscrew the fixing bolts at the top (bolt 1.2 in the picture), unfasten the rivets at the bottom (rivet 1.2 in the picture). The locations of bolts and rivets are indicated in the drawing.

When the bolts are unscrewed and the rivets are removed, lift the sash from the bottom up.

After we have lifted the flap up, we hold it with one hand, and with the other hand we open the flap on which “super prize” is written towards us, we will see the inside of the trailer. After we have opened the “Super Prize” flap, we place the top flap on it. We fix them together with clamps (the clamps are in the car).

After we have opened the trailer, we need to put its drawbar on the jack, which lies at the exit.

We do Step 2, Step 3, Step 4. with the door on the opposite side of the trailer.

We get up from the front of the trailer and unscrew the bolts .

We unfasten the rivets that secure the front flap. The rivets are in the place indicated in the drawing, only on the other side, inside the trailer. We unfasten the rivets on both sides.

After the bolts are unscrewed and the rivets are unfastened, we first lower the lower sash (it will hang on the chains), then lift the upper sash and fix it with support posts

We stand on a stepladder (which is in the trailer), and lift the signs and fasten them together with clamps. We insert the clamps through the holes in the corners of the sign.

Connect pendant lamps. The lamps are in the drawer of the Lamps trailer.

The lamps have mounts installed. These fastenings cling to self-tapping screws that are screwed into the upper sashes. See photo above.

We install lights in the trailer.

Turn on the generator (check with the manager for details)

Installation “Knock down the cans and go fishing”

1. Set the fishing rod in place as shown in the drawing (on the left, if you look at the front of the trailer).

2. Open the fishing lid and hook it with a hook , which lies in the “Hooks” box to the top flap of the trailer.

3. Take 4 cans from the trailer and pour them into fishing. We put canisters for fishing.

6. After the “Fishing” attraction is installed, install the “Knock the Cans” attraction

7. Lower the podium for knocking down the cans to a horizontal position. Hook put it in a box.

8. From the “Cans” drawer in the trailer, take out the can catcher and hang it under the podium. There are 5 eyes on the catcher. We hook 2 eyes to the studs on the podium. We hook 3 eyelets to the shield. Example below.

9. From the “Cans” drawer in the trailer we take out 6 cans and 3 angry birds.

We arrange the banks on the podium in the order 3 – 2 – 1. We put the birds nearby.

10. From the “Containers” drawer we take out a container with consolation prizes. And we put it on the trailer rack.

The place is ready for one first operator. There is also a cash register bag in the drawer.

Installation of the “Burst the Ball” and “Field of Miracles” attractions

1. In the “Ball Pump” drawer there is an electric ball pump. . The pump is installed and connected to the outlet, as in the figure below.

2. After the pump is installed, inflate the balls and insert them into the cells. Medium size balls for fixation in the cell.

3. After the balls in the cells are inflated. We hang up the case for spare balls, which is in the “Case for spare balls” box, and fill it with balls.

4. From the “Containers” drawer we take out a container with consolation prizes. And we put it on the trailer rack, put a pack of balls next to it so as not to constantly open the box.

5. After the “Burst the Ball” is prepared, we set up the field of miracles.

A participant catches 10 ducks from a pool with a fishing rod. This is the car I was looking for.

At that time, I rode a lot on buses around the city on business and looked at all the parking lots where cars were parked, looking for an old Gazelle-thermobooth car.

And then one fine moment I saw exactly what I needed, got off at the nearest stop and began to look at the car.It was standing near the parking lot and there was a FOR SALE sign on it. Of course, I was happy and wrote down the number.

Then we called the owner, it turned out that the car had no documents, and they weren’t asking much for it, only 40 thousand rubles. In general, the decision was made to take this car, because we needed it as a warehouse, and we had no need for documents. We paid the required amount in installments, first 20,000 rubles. and received the corresponding receipt, keys and the only document available for the car: a vehicle registration certificate, as well as permission that the car can be picked up.

Reconstruction of a car for a shooting range

Time was running out, it was the end of April, and according to our plan we did not have time to launch the shooting range, we wanted it for the May 9 holiday. With difficulty, they towed the non-working car to the base, where they began to shamanize it.

The idea behind this whole idea was the following: it was necessary to make an extension structure for the shooting range, and such a structure that only one person could arrange it, i.e. the design should be light and practical.

A welder made the metal structure for us

To do this, they brought in a familiar master welder, whom we met in the evening, outlined the task to him, he immediately understood everything and told us what needed to be purchased. The structure was made of metal squares 20x20 mm. The next morning we already purchased the necessary material at the metal warehouse, and on the weekend the welder began working. For a long time he thought and thought about how it would be easier to do it, first he welded it and then removed it...

Through trial and error, he managed to achieve the desired result. In general, he completed his task; to be honest, I was very worried. But it was in vain.

We had to work hard too

Next, we began to tighten the drilled cover. First, we wound a rope around the roof of the structure so that the drilled covering would not sag, and began to tighten it and fix it with metal screws to the structure itself using a screwdriver.

Next, we bought an aluminum profile and made skis of the structure so that it could be easily pulled out and placed in place by one person.The welder also made legs that were stuck into the structure so that it would sit straight and correctly in place.

At my former school, we asked the head of the school for an ordinary desk to use as a tabletop. Since it was very low, the welder welded additional legs, thereby increasing it.

In general, something similar to the final result was already ready, and I took an air rifle and began to try. The only negative is the distance of this shooting range, no more than 8 meters. But still, there were no pneumatic shooting ranges in our city, and I was glad even for that.

Opening an IP is required

Our idea was ready, the only thing we needed to launch was the documents to carry out business activities. Therefore, my partner called his lawyer friend, who was involved in registering entrepreneurs, and agreed to have me registered in an expedited manner.

In the morning I was already in their office and filled out the necessary documents. I’ll say right away that you can register with the tax office yourself and for free. We needed it urgently, and so we had to pay 4,000 rubles. To register, you will need knowledge of the OKVED code 92.34.3. It will need to be entered when registering an individual entrepreneur or added as an additional one.

All the necessary manipulations were completed in 1 day, I also ordered a print, it cost 800 rubles, but you can do without it.

The opening day of our shooting range has arrived

So, the next morning we towed the car to the place where it was planned to be parked.By the way, one very important point! If the distance from curb to curb is more than 6 meters, then this is considered a roadway or parking space. If the distance is less than 6 meters, then this is already a pedestrian path on which parking cars is prohibited. In our case, there was a parking space and a roadway, so we parked the car in the most advantageous place without any problems, opened the body and unfolded the extension structure.

It turned out that they forgot about the targets. They were built on site

Everything was clear, the only thing missing was targets, we made them ourselves using a regular profile, wooden blocks, canopies and screws. The profile was cut into small pieces, attached to the canopy on one side, and on the other side the canopy was attached to a block and painted with multi-colored spray cans. In the end, it turned out to be something like a target; if you hit it, then it goes down on the canopy. We pulled a regular dornite behind the targets to prevent the bullets from ricocheting.

The only disadvantage of this target is that you need to climb inside the machine and install them after each accurate shooter. But this is already the task of the animator.

First earnings

Since I collected rifles, I had enough of them, so we decided to open on the same day, going and buying air bullets.

I decided to do some work myself in the evening and see what I had invested my money into.

Over the course of the evening, I managed to earn more than 2,000 rubles in just a couple of hours, and this was very pleasing.

Immediately I saw the shortcomings in our business

Our rifles were not secured in any way, and so we bought the thinnest ordinary cable, a clamp and a carabiner at a hardware store, with which we secured the rifles to the tabletop without any problems. To be honest, my head was spinning, I learned so many new things, there were many passers-by who stopped to chat and give their recommendations regarding our shooting range.

It's time to hire your first employee

After working for a couple of days, I realized that I needed to free up my time and improve the shooting range, so I posted an ad on the Avito website that a young, energetic worker was needed to work at the summer shooting range. There were few applicants, however, we still managed to find a suitable candidate for the job. After a short briefing and bringing him up to speed, he replaced me and began to work.

For his work he was paid 500 rubles for 8 hours of work.

The shooting range opened exactly at 2:00 pm and closed at 10 pm due to the fact that it was already dark outside and, unfortunately, there was no lighting in our homemade shooting range, and therefore many advised installing flashlights...

We wanted more...

I continued to improve the shooting range. The first thing I did was paint our entire homemade structure blue. My rifle was used, so it quickly broke down. I ordered new rifles, bullets and a shooting range module (many different targets for the shooting range) on the Kvintor.ru website.

Every day the shooting gallery brought in 4-5 thousand, but we wanted more.

Creation of the “Burst the Ball” prize attraction

However, one single shooting gallery did not bring in much money, and we decided to put the “Burst the Ball” prize attraction nearby.

My partner found a picture on the Internet, according to which we began to make a simple design for the attraction ourselves. This required ordinary boards 2 mm thick and 150 mm wide. We calculated how many boards we would need and bought them at a hardware store. Next, in the garage, we cut the required number of jumpers and began to assemble the attraction using nails, a hammer, screws and a screwdriver.

The “Burst the Ball” attraction is interesting not only for children, but also for adults.

After some magic, our attraction was ready, and we took it to our point. Along the way we bought darts, balls and prizes: champagne and teddy musical bears. The employee was explained why prizes should be given and what distance should be to the attraction.To be honest, we tested it ourselves at first and came to the conclusion that for adults there should be at least 6 meters to the attraction, and for children 4 meters.

Now the final profit consisted of 2 points - a shooting gallery and an attraction. It has almost doubled.

2 schoolchildren advertised our new attraction

2 young schoolchildren also appeared and lured players onto the attraction.

At first I gave them 200-300 rubles for work, because... they worked great.

One lured passers-by with the words: “Would you like to win a teddy bear for your girlfriend?” or “play and win a prize”! In general, they came up with phrases on the fly, and I saw with my own eyes how it works and profits increase.

Preparations for the traditional festival “White Nights of Samotlor”

In our northern town of Nizhnevartovsk, the traditional festival “White Samotlor Nights” takes place, which lasts 3 days, i.e. For 3 days and nights people walk, drink and have fun, sparing no expense.

“Samotlor Nights” are considered by Vartov residents to be the most significant event of the summer.

We made a decision - we need to make 3 more such attractions

I made new attractions, as if according to a template, the following designs came very easily, everything was even very simple. And so, having riveted another attraction, we placed it on Neftchinikov Square and, accordingly, a worker with it. The new employees recommended another friend of theirs who was supposed to work on the new attraction.

The most interesting thing is that the new attraction at the new point began to generate profit no worse than the old one along with the shooting gallery.

And they decided to sell balloons to the fullest

And now the traditional festival was approaching, there were already 2 points, but we did not stop and decided to simultaneously start selling street balloons, fortunately I had previously purchased foil and latex balloons for this business on the St. Petersburg website. It was only necessary to find a helium tank.

Where they fill cylinders with helium, it could be rented, but this pleasure cost 15,000 rubles, and there was no guarantee that we would do this. Therefore, my partner, who had different connections, found a balloon from someone. He just took it to use; we just needed to fill it with helium. I don’t remember exactly how much it cost, I think about 5000 rubles.

In order for the balloon to be near you in the sun, it must be covered from sunlight with a special apron, and, by the way, you will need a special spout for the balloon to inflate balloons, which you can order in the same place where the balloons are purchased...

So, everything was ready for the street sale of balloons, and I posted an ad on Avito looking for a new worker.

To work, I took the first girl I came across, whom I paid 100 rubles from the sale of each ball; she walked with her mother and a small child in a stroller and brought us profit.

We inflated the balloons in the garage, because... there was nowhere to store the cylinder, and there was a great responsibility for it, because the cylinder was someone else’s, they would suddenly steal it, and it cost 15,000 rubles. Therefore, we carried the balls from the garage by car.

Honestly, I lost my hand when I was holding the balls. Just imagine how I hold such a pack of balls that want to fly into the sky.

Employees need constant supervision

After working for a short time, I quickly realized that the girl on the balls was doing something chemical, and fired her. In her place I took a young non-Russian guy, he seemed to be Kyrgyz by nationality, outwardly he looked like a wimp, so I wasn’t afraid to trust him with the balloon trade.

By the way, so that he wouldn’t run away with the money, I asked him to bring a copy of his passport. The guy met my expectations and was very reliable and responsible.

Testing the honesty of a shooting range employee

And the shooting range worker also chemicalized something, and so we decided to check him for lice! One fine evening I arrived and took off the entire cash register, explaining to him what was happening by saying that we were now going to go buy prizes for the attraction, buy beer and other nonsense. The guy perked up and immediately started calling somewhere, calling friends... Yes, we bought beer and brought a fake guy to whom I gave money, about 1000 rubles.

I photographed the money in advance (serial numbers), in general, the mummer’s task was to lose all the money... And I watched what was happening from a nearby cafe, ate ice cream and wrote down the approximate number of random passers-by and the approximate amount of money that our animator should have had.

In general, our mummer lost all the money, I finished the ice cream, and it was time for a tough test! We appeared unexpectedly, there was fear in the guy’s eyes, I took all the money and started counting, and something was missing... Then I started checking the numbers on the photo and the banknotes that I took from the employee.

Everything was exactly as we expected. The guy only stole 100 rubles, but this was a test for lice. I won’t go into detail about the pressure under which we found out!

In general, we kicked him out in disgrace, and in his place we took a Kyrgyz, who in the meantime was selling balloons. He saw everything that was happening, and he was afraid to steal money in order to lose his job. I was not mistaken about the guy, he worked for us for several years until he was drafted into the army.

Unpleasant incident with workers at the attraction

It is impossible to control the flow of cash in this case, and everything relies on chance, as in the next scam that was pulled off by my employees who worked on the attraction in the square.

You should always keep an eye on your employees.

I won’t go into detail and for a long time, but I’ll just say that at one fine moment I came to the square and saw that next to my attraction there was a young couple sitting with a child who was playing with my teddy bear, and it was very difficult, almost impossible to win! Moreover, the man and his friend are drinking my champagne, which is also impossible to win.

Fortunately, their companion was a girl, my neighbor, whom I knew very well. I approached and found out that they paid 1000 rubles. and immediately bought 2 of my prizes without playing. Well, naturally, I gave the cradle to my employees...

Summarizing

I managed to organize this business at the age of 25. Many of my friends came up and expressed their opinions regarding my shooting range. Most of them liked the idea. Sometimes my friends and I would stand in the square next to the rides and watch people line up to play. My friends counted my money with joy, or maybe with envy, I don’t know for sure.

In general, we had a shooting gallery, a “Burst the Ball” attraction nearby, and 3 more prize attractions in different places in the city, which brought good profits.

Each prize attraction brought in 10,000 rubles a day, and we quickly made back the money invested in this business in 3 days of the festival. Further, the shooting gallery and prize attractions were already working in plus.

We also tried selling balloons, but nothing good came of it; we personally spent too much time inflating the balloons and delivering them to the place where the worker was waiting. Therefore, we decided to abandon the balloon trade. We also added the “Turnik” attraction, which my partner ordered on the Internet when I was on vacation at the seaside in Odessa, so, unfortunately, I don’t know the detailed origin. But I will still say that the business is also profitable.

Run-ins with the law

I will say right away that this activity was planned as a sliding trade and did not require any permits to carry out the activity, so there was no need to obtain permission for the place in which our activities were carried out. We had connections in Rospotrebnadzor and the tax office, thanks to which we were not touched for about 3 years.

The police are monitoring the operation of the attractions.

However, the police sometimes approached us and were interested in documents for carrying out activities. In this case, the employee called me immediately, I came and said that all the documents were in order. If necessary, he showed the entrepreneur’s registration certificate; if this was not enough, then he simply wrote down where to go the next day, to which office and to whom, in order to bring the missing documents that we did not have. But it didn’t come to that; everything was decided over the phone with the help of connections.

After a few years, people lost interest in our entertainment

In general, the idea turned out to be quite successful; the invested money was recouped very quickly, because... entertainment was completely new in the city. At first there were a lot of people who wanted to shoot and throw darts, many played 5-6 times to win a toy for a girl, but, as a rule, we kept the prize.Over time, after a few years, people lost interest in our entertainment, and the business began to bring in less and less money.

But I still launch prize attractions for the traditional festival. In a day you manage to earn from 5 to 10 thousand rubles. This idea is great for beginners, young entrepreneurs who want to invest a small amount in a business, but I’ll say right away that the business is quite troublesome and requires the organizer to constantly be on alert: either the bullets will run out, or the prizes and balls will run out, and you must have time to bring the necessary materials.
